Myotact
Myotact has developed a medical device which allows the acquisition of muscle activity coupled with haptic and visual biofeedback reproducing virtual movements on an application.
Problem
Worldwide, more than 14 million people per year enter an ultra-complex and psychologically demanding care pathway (post-stroke, amputees…). Current therapies are limited when early treatment is essential. Our main obsession is to enable these disabled people to regain their autonomy from the outset in their rehabilitation, thus facilitating a comeback to a normal life.
Solution
The Myotact bracelet is equipped with 8 electromyographic muscle sensors and 8 vibrators allowing a haptic and visual biofeedback to improve the engagement and motivation of patients in a personalised rehabilitation process.
